They announced the movies they will release between 2016-2020. Their announcement was in 3 parts. Comic-Book Movies, Other Movies, and TV.

Part 1: Comic-Book Movies

Batman vs Superman

Batman vs Superman sequel in 2016. Both characters will star in Justice League Part One in 2017 and Part 2 in 2019; Warner Bros’ answer to The Avengers.

7 other comic-book movies announced with characters the general moviegoer may not recognise. Here are the main three you should know:

  • Wonder Woman (2017)
  • The Flash starring Ezra Miller (2018)
  • Green Lantern (2020)

Part 2: Other Movies

Lego Movie

Three Lego Movie spin-offs/sequels:

  • Ninjago (2016)
  • LEGO Batman Movie (2017)
  • The LEGO Movie 2 (2018)

Harry Potter spin off series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be three movies in 2016, 2018 and 2020.

Part 3: TV

Friends will be available on Netflix from January 1st.

Husband/Boyfriend/Date? – If you want to test his commitment.

Kids? – Hugh Grant is old – no.

Mates? – Slushy nonsense – no.

Worth the ticket price? – If its your thing.


Horror (scary dolls).

Vintage doll comes to life.

Fact to impress – The leading female actress is also called Annabelle. Spooky.

Wife/Girlfriend/Date? – Lots of grabbing your arm.

Husband/Boyfriend/Date? – If you want to see if he is a scaredy-cat.

Kids? – If you are a sadist.

Mates? – Good laugh.

Worth the ticket price? – If you liked The Conjuring.

The Maze Runner

Action (teenage-aimed). Thriller (if you are 14). Mystery (its about a Maze).

Young boys in the middle of a maze for no reason. Want to get out. Consequences.

Fact to impress – Sequels 2 and 3 are already planned.

Wife/Girlfriend/Date? – It’s a bit of a boy film.

Husband/Boyfriend/Date? – If he’s 14 and/or Hunger Games fan.

Kids? – Yes.

Mates? – Not if you’re over 17.

Worth the ticket price? – If you enjoy the teenage fantasy fad or you have a maze fetish.

Edge of Tomorrow (Tom Cruise) is out to rent or buy if you fancy a night in. It’s great.
